Our JPXS-6 Jackknife Lock Pick Set has been in production, but now it's back in stock! We're still working on the production, so we'd thought we'd share some pics from behind-the-scenes...
The Jackknife handle begins as a solid block of aluminum which is loaded on the tombstone in the CNC machine:

A few handles, mid-production, loaded on the tombstone
The aluminum block is then machined through a multi-step process to the final handle design:
Once the handle has completed the machining process, it looks like this:

The handles then go through a further polishing processing to remove machine lines and smooth edges, before they go to anodizing. Once anodized, they're assembled with our signature, highly-polished, U.S. stainless steel lock picks and tension tool, and given a final hand-buffing. Then, finally, they're boxed and ready to ship!
It's a long process, with a lot of attention to detail along the way, but we think the final result is worth it!
